MRLC in Collaboration with Madison Community Projects
MRLC is continually working to enhance knowledge of parents, educators, and students in the Madison Community. MRLC has been a proud supporter of the Madison Dyslexia Conference held in 2007. It is also a proud sponsor of the 2008 Sankofa Teaching Drum program at Lincoln Elementary School in a 3rd and 4th grade classroom. MRLC is in its fifth year of sponsoring the African American Culture Camp in Madison which is geared towards African American adoptive families and friends.

It was also partnered with Walbridge Academy to host a Dyslexia conference with Keynote Speakers Dr Sally Shaywitz and Dr Bennett Shaywitz, leaders in neuropsychology and dyslexia research.
